Carlos, a farmer in El Salvador, had never considered the importance of regular health checkups. Through UNETE’s educational workshops, he learned about prostate cancer prevention and underwent a screening during a medical brigade.
Early diagnosis allowed Carlos to receive timely treatment, saving his life. He is now a passionate advocate for preventive health in his community, helping to spread the knowledge he gained from UNETE.
